2015 is finishing up. It has been a wild year around here but I can't believe it's done.
It's been almost a year since I "re-started" this blog after a 2 year break. I'm loving sharing our adventures with my readers and have some fun things planned for 2016. I joined up with a few other bloggers for a link up of top 10 posts! Be sure to checkout everyone's lists!
As I looked back over the year on Day to Day, I loved seeing which posts were the most popular. I would be honored if you look through the top 10 of 2015 and read a few that you might have missed!
#10 Swiss Steak
One of our favorite meals. Throw this in the crockpot (takes 10 minutes) in the morning, cook it all day on low and you have a wonderful hot meal ready at supper time.
#9 What I think when my friends see my dirty house
This used to be a BIG deal for me. Now I'm proud to say I'm a little better. Come on over. It's a mess but hey you will feel right at home.
#8 10 Go to meals for Food Decision fatigue
Some days my brain shuts off at 4 p.m. Between kids, homeschooling, cleaning, errands etc. I'm just finished with making decisions. I go to this list when I have days like that. Everyone should have a list like this. It helps. Really. Do it. Now!
#7 4-part Tutorial on How to Make a Rag Rug
This is an older post from 2010 but it is still one of the most popular on Day to Day! If you have ever wanted to make a rag rug this will walk you through how to do it!
#6 Scheduled Free Styling Menu
The THM eating plan is usually enough to loose weight but sometimes even after being on the plan for months you can have stubborn pounds that won't move. This was a menu that worked for me!
THM(Trim Healthy Mama) has been the best plan for me to improve my health, level my blood sugar and loose weight. At times I've been frustrated by stalls and weight gain but I've learned many things about how my body looses weight and deals with healing.
#4 Easy Slow cooker Meals to Keep Kitchen Cool
My slow cooker(aka Crockpot) is my most loved appliance. It makes meals with almost no effort from me. It keeps the kitchen cool in the summer and makes warm nourishing food in the winter.
We LOVE strawberries around here. We planted some new Square foot Garden Strawberry Beds in spring 2015 so I am hoping we can freeze tons of berries this year and make jam as we need it. It is SO simple and delicious. I love that it is perfectly healthy because it has no sugar added and uses chia seeds, an amazing super food, as the thickener.
