After sharing 3 years of ups and downs of growing raspberries last week, I realized that there is not a single raspberry recipe on Day to Day Adventures.  So I went searching and chatted with friends about their favorite recipes. These are some delicious looking raspberry dessert recipes that I'm going to need to try soon!

For our family dessert doesn't need to be fussy.  Most of the time a bowl of ice cream or a cookie is what's for dessert.  But on special occasions or when I feel like going to more trouble then I like to have some fancy desserts that we can choose from.  I love the look(and taste) of these recipes that feature raspberries!!!

Raspberry Dark Chocolate Truffles

I don't feel like I need to say much besides

well. . . . Truffles and dark chocolate.

Seriously these looks so good and who wouldn't want a truffle.  YUMMY and the recipe looks really easy.

I'm beginning to think I don't have enough raspberries in the freezer for all of this yumminess.  Next year will be awesome when we have more and I will have the recipes ready to go.

Raspberry Cheesecake Brownies

I am die hard chocolate girl.  I don't go many days with out a little chocolate to make the day better.

But when you add in cheesecake and the tartness of raspberries?  Oh yeah that's what I am talking about for an awesome dessert!

These won't be lasting long when we make them!

Raspberry FACT

A raspberry is made up of many tiny bead-like fruits called "drupelets" clustered around a core. Each drupelet contains one seed, and an average raspberry has 100 to 120 seeds. (source)

Almost Homemade Chocolate Cake with Real Whip Cream and Raspberries

This super simple recipe makes up quickly from a mix but it like it is made from scratch!

Don't like canned super sweet frosting? I don't!  So I'm going to try this homemade frosting made from real whip cream!

This next recipe isn't technically a dessert but you could eat it for dessert and I am certain that some in our house definitely would.

Raspberry FACT

There are different varieties of raspberries available to the home gardener - red, purple, gold and black. (source)

Vegan Raspberry Coconut Scones

I love discovering baked goods that my gluten-free daughter with Celiac disease can try!

These scones would work great because I don’t make breakfast much anymore and having baked goods that we can stash in the freezer is the perfect treat on mornings where no one wants to go to much trouble for breakfast.

Plus they would make a fast dessert too!

Raspberry Nice Cream

As my son tells me there is always room for ice cream and this fruity treat looks like the perfect dessert to enjoy from our stash of berries in the freezer!

It looks perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Raspberry FACT

When ripe, raspberries separate easily from the core, which remains attached to the plant.  Unlike many other fruits, unripe raspberries do not ripen after they are picked! (source)

BONUS recipe

This is definitely not a dessert but it looks too delicious to leave off the list.

Fresh Berry Raspberry Syrup for flavoring Lemonade

Lemonade reminds me of summer, picnics, and being outside on beautiful days.

(stomping my foot) It is still summer and I think this beautiful ruby red berry syrup with raspberries will be awesome on our late summer/pre-fall picnic that I’m planning this weekend!  Make regular lemonade and then add the syrup to flavor it with your favorite berries

I love that I can tweek it to be the right sweetness for our family too!  I may try to make a sugar free versions too!

Do you have a favorite raspberry dessert?

I would love to hear what it is!  Leave me a comment below so I can add it to my list!
