Grown up faith is less about attending church, listening to sermons and singing praise songs and more about becoming who God wants you to be by listening to him speak. Now don't get me wrong--finding a church home is REALLY important. But there is WAY more to being a Christian than attending the "right church."

My dad recommended that I put off buying a car as long as possible. I was baffled by his attitude. The comment didn’t seem to be a "keep my little girl little" kind of comment. It was more that he wanted to pass along some wisdom.

5 CommentsMy daughter paid me a really big compliment yesterday. She said, “Mom you never really sat me down and taught me about money but you taught me how to handle money through the way you live” Tears--maybe I've done something right!
This is the girl who is leaving for college in 5 weeks. She really NEEDS to know how to think about money and how to manage it well.
